We believe that continuing teacher development, from training in the latest computer and laboratory techniques to programs that focus on understanding the emotional and academic needs of gifted students, is critical to the supreme quality of education that students at Bronx Science receive.

Many of these programs that the Endowment Fund has sponsored and supported take place during the summer months, when teachers have more time to focus on enhancing their education.

Teachers at Bronx Science regularly request funding for continuing education at the post-graduate level so that they are well-equipped to teach the many advanced college-level courses that the school offers the students.
